Millions of Americans tuned in in the 80s and 90s to watch Sam and Diane, and all of the regulars at Cheers like Cliff, Norm and Frasier, who entertained a generation.

Over the last 100 years, the kindness of Lions and Leos has multiplied across borders, oceans, and continents. With over 1.4 million members, we now have an opportunity to truly change our world.

 

That’s why we’re uniting our global service around five areas of need. These Global Causes present significant challenges to humanity, and we believe it’s our turn to meet them.

Your Global Action Team

The GAT is a vast network of dedicated Lions of all levels who are focused on helping districts achieve their goals. This important team helps foster club membership growth, increase Lions’ visibility in the community through impactful service and build strong, innovative leaders.

Lions Clubs International

Over 1.4 million Lions across the globe are stepping up to serve their communities during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. These new challenges have changed the way we live, but our dedication to helping those in need is as strong as it was when we first opened our doors more than 100 years ago.

Our mission is to empower Lions clubs, volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding.
