International Peace Poster Contest Winner Presented with Award

The Booragoon Lions Club have presented National Lions Peace Poster Contest winner, Hannah Roberts, with her trophy and Lions International certificate of merit.

3 International Awards for Lions Australia – Peace Poster Contest and Kindness Matters Service Award

It is our great pleasure to announce that Western Australia student Hannah Roberts has been chosen as a merit award winner in the 34th Annual Lions International Peace Poster Contest, while two Australian Lions/Leo clubs have both been presented with Kindness Matters Service Awards.

Lions mobile skin check and awareness unit aims to reduce prevalence of skin cancer

Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world, but Lions Clubs in Victoria and Southern NSW are doing their bit to reduce that level and its impact on families.

The incorporated charity, the Lions V Districts Cancer Foundation, launched its mobile skin check van in March 2021.

Even our youngest Lions volunteers roll up their sleeves and take action

We hope you will inquire about participating in our youth activities, or express an interest in joining a Leo or Lions Club. We also invite parents, carers and teachers to liaise with us about our various activities, and we welcome their support.

A Bigger Impact than Ever Before

Lions Clubs throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea are involved in establishing and managing a range of national projects, activities, foundations and initiatives. Through community fundraising, last year alone we raised more than $28 million that went towards funding medical research, health care, assisting adults and children with disabilities, emergency response, and other purposes to help the community.
